To claim your seat, email SOAR-Training@MITRE-Engenuity.org. SOAR (Safely Operating Aircraft Remotely™) is an early access drone training course for Public Safety UAS operators that is standardized, nationaLu available, and available to personnel with a Part 107 license.


Additionally, SOAR’s curriculum, FUNDAMENTALS OF UAS MANEUVERING (course schedule online), was developed and peer reviewed by leading law enforcement organizations and national non-profit drone associations. Completion of the course provides a credential that reflects that the UAS operator is compliant with ASTM International and NIST requirements for public safety remote pilots.
